Beginn 2004!
I only was thinking about kite surfing.
Holiday – pleasure – sports – to enjoy my life and to have a good time and to relax. The Dominican Republic – a country that has many varied facets. One facet is the poverty of the country and the people that live here. And I wanted t o help to support these people.
To be honest, I didn’t know why I agreed to support this project. It may have been the following words that may have influenced my thinking and aroused my ambitions.
“Many people said they were going to support us, but no one ever did!”
These were the words of Miguelina Vilorena, the wife of Gustavo Vilorena, who taught me Spanish over the past 2 years, 2 times weekly for a period of 3 months.

In these past 2 months, I got to know these people and their family and now I know that they would do absolutely everything to help other people and especially to support children.

Children, that don’t have the possibilities to get an education. They teach in their community, next to the primary and secondary school the languages English, French, German and their mother language Spanish.
They only earn as much as to ensure their own existence of their family. These people dedicated their lives to help other people and I want to support them with all my power to realise the project “School Cabarete”.
One-to-one, without any bureaucracy, the money will directly go to the project and I will take care of it.
“Sometimes, words can change someone and give the strength to do something different, than you were doing before in your life.”
